Disneyworld!!

Wow, it's been a while!! So much has been going on since I last posted! Life has been exciting and busy for us, so here are a few pics of what we have been doing. We went to DisneyWorld in October. It was a blast. We also went to Universal Studios. It was fun, butterbeer (cream soda) from the Harry Potter land, was divine!!! But the ride made us sick! Oh well, you win some you lose a lot!! haha. Christmas was fun here, Logan's whole family came down and so did Heather. It was so nice to see her, I miss her like crazy!! 2010 was fun, I can't wait to see what awaits us in 2011!!!

Tyler (my younger brother) just left this week for Iraq. We had some going away parties for him, before he went to boot camp and before he left for Iraq. So here are some pics from those. We will miss him so much, but we are very grateful for the sacrifice he and many others are making. I just wish it wasn't my brother, but this is what he wanted to do! Love you lots Tyler.

Monday was Tannon's first day of Preschool. He was so excited! It's been a long summer with him because he knew he was going to Preschool, so he asked about twice a day if it was time yet. Then Kylan and Miranda started school, and that made it harder for him. (and me). But the day finally came and he had lots of fun! I pray hard for his teacher so she can have patience with him, because he is a busy little boy!!

But anyway, it's finally here! School! Relief! The kids were excited, I was elated. It worked out well. Kylan is a 3rd grader and Miranda is 2nd. Tannon will be starting on Monday at preschool. He can hardly contain himself! They are growing up so fast!

Well, it's a while, but I am still here, just not here on blogger!! No reason why I haven't blogged, just haven't! Nothing too exciting maybe? I don't know. But here is a little recap of our lives. School ended, summer break hit (hard), we have been trying to stay as busy as possible with swimming at my in-laws and other misc. activities so I don't slowly sink into crazy town! Logan and I hit our 11th anniversary. Holy cow thats a lot!! I can't believe it's been that long. Tannon is now enrolled in Preschool, (heaven help us all) and he can hardly contain himself! School starts back up on the 28th (hallelujah!!!). See, nothing really exciting, just normal. Hope everyone else out there is having fun! I will try harder to keep up with blogger! (maybe)

Tannon's 4th Birthday

It was April 10th, and I am just posting about it. Seriously! Tannon has been waiting for his birthday to come along forever. It's been only a year, but it seems like centuries to this boy! It was making him very angry that everyone else was having birthdays but him. Finally his day came!! We took him to Red Robin on his birthday and the look on his face when he finally got his sundae was priceless. He was so happy! Then we had a birthday party a few days later when Logan got back into town. He chose "how to train your dragon" themed birthday. Very random.... He had been talking about spongebob and power rangers, but he chose that. As long as he was happy! I made the cake and bought the kit from walmart. I don't really like their cakes and I can make a better cake, although I am not a great cake decorator... oh well!! All in all it was a great birthday for him and he is already planning the next one! I love this crazy little boy!!

He has been asking for a Pillow Pet for about a month, and I gave in and bought it. He wanted the lady bug one.. Ok. This present made his entire day! He sleeps with this, and just loves it!!

Scouts Blue and Gold Dinner

Kylan had his first blue and gold dinner on Tuesday. The sons and dad's are supposed to bake a cake for this, and the theme was 100 years of scouting. Well, the cakes are judged, so I called Rhonda over to help with this!! Boy did she!! This is what Rhonda does best! She had a picture of a camping cake so we decided to do a cake about camping, and incorporate scouts into it. She did most of this. Pretty much wouldn't let me touch it! haha! Kylan and Logan frosted the cake (that I baked) and arranged the items. It turned out great! We won best over all cake!! YAY!

Ok, so it's been a while. I had these pics on my camera. So I thought I would show you what the storm that came through here a few weeks ago, did to my back yard!

This is NOT where our trampoline belongs. It belongs in the middle of our yard STAKED down like it was. Well apparently there was a tornado or something that only hit my backyard and threw my tramp onto my fence.

Christmas 09

This year for Christmas we went to Durango, CO to be with Logan's family. We drove up there on Wednesday and left Sunday. My little Kaston was sick the whole time, we aren't sure what it was, but it was pretty scary for a little while. He wasn't keeping anything down or in for a while, but we prayed pretty hard and asked Santa for a healthy Kaston for Christmas and he was a happy little boy Christmas morning. Logan's family celebrates Christmas on Christmas Eve, so we opened presents then. Santa leaves his goodies for the morning. It was a shark frenzie on Christmas Eve with 11 kids opening presents, but we managed! There was lots of snow there and it was so cold I thought I would freeze to death! We bowled Saturday night and it was 5 degrees. Yikes. But all in all it was fun, kids had a blast in the snow and we had fun hanging with the family and playing games!

Time for the tree!

It's Christmas time! Time for decorations!! This is a bobble head that I have had for about 9 years now! His head falls off now, but he is so cute that I can't throw him away!

Keats and Melanie came to visit for Thanksgiving, kids were very happy about this!! They love Keats and Melanie!

Kylan got his Bobcat in Scouts, and of course I didn't bring my camera, so here is what my iphone can do! Not like I could've taken a good pic anyway, I had the 2 boys with me and all they wanted was the cookies that were on the table next to us. It was great!

The big boys went painball shooting. Why would you want to shoot eachother with painballs? It hurts! But they did. Logan said the paint comes off in the wash...... not true. It stained. Good thing these aren't good clothes or I might've had to get ugly!

Miranda had her school performance yesterday and it was about the farm. So the kids dressed up as cowboys and performed 4 songs and some had lines to read also. Miranda had a line to read, she was really excited about this, she loves to be in front of people and perform! This was a cute performance! I can't for some reason write next to the photos, sometimes blogger gives me a headache, but the top one is Kasey, Todd, me and Miranda.

So this weekend we went to Vegas for a seminar/convention for Logan and Greg's company. We worked the days from 8-6 and then hung out at night. We saw Ka which was so awesome! I loved it!! It was fun, but I am tired now! Lots of standing in high heels and walking! My feet may never be the same. But we got these shirts from the seminar and my boys love them! I got 4 so all the kids have them. They are a bit big... but that doesn't seem to matter to them. They are very happy.

Logan's mom is the queen of parties, and she wanted to give Kylan a Pirate Party. I on the other had, am NOT the queen of parties and gets very nervous and panicked at the thought of 11 little boys running around my house! But we did it, and it was awesome!! We had 11 boys show up and Rhonda had games and prizes and all sorts of things going on. It was mayhem! I am not too sure I will ever invite that many boys over to my house Ever again. But Kylan and those boys had a blast, so that is all that matters!! They got to have tatoos, eyeliner like Capt. Jack Sparrow, and eyepatches, earings and bandanas! It was fun. I am glad Rhonda did this, I am so grateful for her and all she does for us! We love you Rhonda!!!

My little boy turned 8 on August 30th. Can't believe it! He is such a sweet, loving, happy little boy. I couldn't be more happy or blessed! I am so happy that he made the decision to be baptized last weekend! He was so nervous that he had to get up in front of people, he is just like me! But he did good!

Logan and I went to Costa Rica last week, and had a blast!! The weather was not so fantastic, it was like 90 degrees with like 90% humidity! You just don't bother doing your hair!! But it was so fun. We ziplined, rafted, surfed, and swam. Can't wait to go again!

I can't believe its been a month since I have posted. No reason, just haven't. We haven't been up to much here, just trying our hardest not to melt. Logan has been gone for almost 7 weeks traveling. Coming home Friday night and leaving Sunday afternoon. It's not too fun, but it's what we do!! He is gone more in July because we are getting ready to go to Costa Rica for a week, so he has to make sure his clients are happy before we go!! We have managed to get Logan's sister Alyssa to watch our kids here for the week. We are so excited to get a whole week to ourselves on a tropical island!! I will definately post pictures when we get back. School is starting on Wednesday here, we met the teachers tonight. The kids are excited, but I am much much more excited then they are! LOL. No, it's gonna be good to get them out of here and with friends, they are getting stir crazy here! It's gonna be real hard on the little boys to not have them here, but we will manage!!
I don't have any pictures to post, we got an Mac computer and I really don't know how to input or post pictures yet! I will have Logan give me a lesson!!

In the film 10 things I hate about you this "troll" was in a scene with 2 of the characters. In the movie they added some plants on to it, but we got to see this! It's underneath a bridge in the middle of a neighborhood! On Troll St.!! Very cool.

I was able to go to Seattle to see Logan while he was up there working. He consults about 15 dentists up there and was going to be there for 2 full weeks, so he arranged for me to fly up Thursday night and stay until Sunday afternoon. We did the Space Needle, and walked around downtown, then on Saturday we hit Pikes Market. That smelled bad, but was so much fun! It was cold and I had to buy a new jacket, what the heck am I gonna do with a jacket now?! I am so happy I was able to go and have a weekend just with me and Logan. Thank you for my family members who helped!!!

About 2 weeks ago, Miranda came in yelling that tannon was stuck in her barbie house. So Logan goes down stairs to rescue him, I am thinkin his leg or something is stuck.... Not the case.... Somehow this kid got his whole body stuck in this little barbie house, it's truly a work of magic! He really just gets into everything, I am suprised I haven't been driven to drink!!

We get new jammies on christmas eve to were. The boys were very excited about these ones!

For a new tradition, or just something to do, the Jack family decided to make ginger bread houses. So every family made one. This is ours. We got them judged by Greg and Rhonda's bishop, who lives next door, and he chose theirs as the best. They all were so cool!! I was very suprised!!

Ok, so it's been a while, so here is some stuff we did for the past week or so. We had Christmas here with Logan's family on Christmas Eve. Alyssa, Adam and thier fam and Keats and Melanie all came. We went to my mom's on Christmas morning and celebrated there. Ate some gruel (sp), which is ALWAYS a hit! Loved that! We went over to Logan's parents the next day and rode bikes around the 2 surrounding lots by there house. Kids really enjoyed that! It was very cold though! We have been hanging out and doing lots and lots of cleaning and nothing. But enjoying all of it!

Miranda recieved 3 awards at the end of the year assembly. She got a music award, Student of the Month (for November) and perfect attendance! She is such a special little girl! She loves music, so that didn't suprise me, however, student of the month was a little puzzling, since she comes home often with a "yellow" sticker for talking..... wonder where she gets that from!!

For Christmas, Logan decided to get me a new sink and faucet. Doesn't sound too spectacular until you see what I have been living with! This house came with the basic sink and faucet and it barely fit 2 bowls in it! I HATED IT! I complained all the time about it. So he decided to take us to home depot on Tuesday and told me we were gonna buy the sink. He was gonna suprise me, but figured it should probably pick which one I wanted, smart man! So here is my new sink and faucet. I LOVE IT!! THANK YOU LOGAN! I am so happy, its retarded how excited I am

We had a birthday party for Derek (Heather's son) and Trevor (Brandon's son) on Friday night and Brandon's house. Heather made the best chicken tacos ever, well, I helped and so did Braulio (did I spell that right?) who is Heather's boyfriend. The food was fantastic and the kids had a blast running around the house and yard. It was fun! I love having family parties!! I just can't believe how old my nephews are getting! I remember when they were babies and I used to babysit little baby Derek..... sniff sniff!!

In Kindergarten the kids were sent home with a turkey cut out and told to "disguise" it for Thanksgiving. Well, I enlisted the help of my Mother In Law Rhonda, cause crafts are right up her alley. Miranda wanted it to be a princess, so we went to Joanns and got some stuff and this is what she came out like!! Little frightening, but we had fun!! Notice the detail that went into this, that is ALL Rhonda, she lives for this!! I am so lucky to have her around to help, cause I was clueless! Crafts are not my cup of tea and they actually make me panicky!

There has been nothing exciting to report. Well, we did get a new van. Yes, I drive a van.... LOL... We had to get a new one because our current one has been deemed a lemon by Toyota because it makes a weird mating whale sound when I brake and they can't fix it. There fore they are buying it back. Hasn't happened yet, but they promise it will happen soon. So we went out and bought ourselves a Honda. Done with toyota for a while, they are not very helpful! Our new one has a DVD player which was a MUST for me! I love it! It makes Tannon so happy! Kaston still screams everywhere we go, not much hope for him, or me!!

We are just busy getting christmas done and bought. We did decorate the day before Thanksgiving. That was fun! Our tree looks like kids decorated it!! But it was decorated with LOVE! Notice there are no ornaments on the bottom, Kaston has gotten all of them. So we moved them up. Thats all from us!

First off let me say that All my kids have their own rooms. But that doesn't seem to matter to them. The all congregate in Kylan's room and sleep on his twin bed. Well I guess not all are ON his bed, some sleep UNDER his bed. We have to force Tannon to sleep in his own room. It's a fight every night! And Miranda refuses to sleep in her room too. So I have given up on her. She will decide her room is OK eventually! We are tryin to decide if we should just move our spare double bed into Kylan's room so they all can sleep comfortably in there!!!

Ok, Tannon is my "special" child, he is very unique and has a quirky personality. Well this just adds to it, the older 3 went outside to play in our dirt, since we haven't landscaped yet, so Tannon runs to the shoe box to get his shoes. I assume its HIS shoes he is getting. Not so. I go outside and here he is in MY flip flops. Ok.... those don't quite fit you buddy, but whatever. Fast forward to that night, Logan wanted to go to Walmart to get some stuff to make salsa, so we load up and I tell the kids to get their shoes on. Normal occurance here, they all know how to get their own shoes except the littlest guy. So we go toward walmart and Logan decides we need to do something about Tannons hair so we go to AZ hair company. We walk in and not only notice how dirty Tannons hair is, but he has 2 different shoes on!!! OK now we are officially white trash. Thank you! I was so embarrased! Serves me right to not check what they are wearing before we leave the house!! I give up!! Gotta love the goofy kids!

I can't believe I haven't posted in over a week, not sure why. Nothing too exciting to post on! The boys have been pretty sick with whatever crap is going around. Kaston is sprouting 6, yes 6 teeth and has been miserable! He has been sick for about 2 weeks now and is just getting better. Hasn't been too much fun over at the Jack household! Logan has been home about 4 days in the past 4 weeks! He travels a lot, not sure why the traveling has been so bunched up, but that's they way it is! So all in all, nothing too great over here but buggers and crying!! Hope all of you are doing better than we are!!!

I cannot believe my baby is 1! I am so happy that he is here with us and healthy as can be! You wouldn't know he had a bit of a rough start in the beginning, but all is well with him! I love this little boy so much!

We decided to go camping with Heather and her kids and Tyler. Not one of our best ideas. It rained and so we decided to just go to Sycamore Creek..... again, not one of our best ideas. This trip would've been fun if not for the hordes of BIG red ants that shared our camp site, or the bullhead thorns that covered our shoes as we walked, or the rain.... or the kids..... take your pick! Needless to say, I don't ever wanna camp again, but that's nothin new since I don't enjoy that anyway! On a good note, the kids did have fun, so I guess it was worth our misery!!

Today Kylan got a Certificate of Citizenship at an awards ceremony for having Exemplary Behavior! Of course this comes as no suprise to me, he really is such a sweet little boy! And being the spectacular mom I am, I totally forgot the camera.... so no pictures! But he did get a certificate. He was so embarassed to be up there with the other kids, the look on his face was a mixture of fear and confusion!! Very cute!! I am so proud of my boy!

We are back! Disney for 3 1/2 days and I am beat! We had a blast! Perfect time of year to go, not too many people, the weather was warm, we did sweat a lot, but tolerable! We had so much fun! Minus the meltdowns and a few sick kids, it was super fun! Here is an overload of pictures! I also took the kids to the Wild Animal Park while Logan did an in-house. That was rough, but interesting! The animals were cool, the kids had fun, but it was a lot of walking and we were beat!! All in all we had lots of fun and can't wait to go again! I love disneyland! The kids cried when we were heading home, they asked if we could move to disneyland. I wish!!!!

Yesterday was Kylan's 7th birthday! We went to Peter Piper Pizza with my mom and Heather for a little birthday party for him. We will have a nother one when the rest of the family is in town. He was very excited for the toys and stuff he got! He was most excited about the batman costume and his light saver. Loves star wars!! Happy Birthday buddy!! I cannot believe my baby is now 7! This is crazy!!!

Also, a little update on Logan, he was in ICU all last week for DKA (Diabetic ketoacidosis) which was triggered by being sick and dehydrated. He was really really sick! They gave him a MRI, EKG, CT scan, and over 50 blood draws. Not too fun! But all is well now, he just needs to keep an eye on his blood sugars and drink more liquid!!! DUH!!!! I am so relieved to have him hom and better, it was not so fun watching him be sick like that.

Toilet

2 year olds are the best aren't they? Well atleast mine is.. He is so good infact, that he cleaned my toilet, and my bathroom floor and even into my closet for me. How did he do this you ask?? By stuffing my toilet with 2 whole rolls of toilet paper. Thus flooding the master bath and some of the closet. Needless to say, it got very clean.... Thank heavens it was clean toilet water and there were no floaties... Heather and I got the fun job of cleaning it up for atleast an hour and then going back to it about every 1/2 hour to see if we could get the toilet unclogged. It finally flushed (and stayed down!) about 4 hours later. WHEW!!! Let me remind you we have only been in this house for 2 weeks! And now the carpet in my closet has toilet water all over it, and Logan had to pull it up to stick a carpet fan under it, so now he has to tack it all back down. Loads of fun!! Thank you Tannon! Today was Tannon's first hair cut! He is 26 months old and is finally getting cut! We just couldn't part from his curls, they are so cute! Logan took him to Great Clips to get him and Tannon groomed. Tannon did NOT like this, and cried, so Logan had to bribe him with a sucker to sit still. Smart boy!! I don't see me getting his hair cut for a while, I like the curly frizzled look!! He is so different now! But still as cute as ever!!

1. Like Kasey, I am a pen FIEND! I love pens, I don't care what kind it is, I will take it from you! Look out Dr's offices cause I love your pens! They write the best! I am such a pen nerd and I have to always clean out my stash cause there is just no place to put them!! I LOVE THEM!!

2. I am addicted to Babycenter.com. I love to read the bargain board, not only for the bargains, but lots of drama and funny things. They have a coupon thread that I stalk constantly to see what I can get for free! Love free stuff... especially pens.. muahhhhhhhh

3. I am totally freaked out by spit. I hate when people spit, I don't like to look at it, I don't like it on me ( unless its my babies and then I just don't have a choice). It's gross and stinky and germy and keep it away from me!!

4. Also like Kasey, (I didn't realize how a like we are!!) I don't like going to public places where moms just ignore their kids. This is a Gigantic pet peeve of mine! Kids are not to be allowed to just roam around and fend for themselves! They always seem to hit, kick, or smack my children or someone else's and it just totally bothers me. And its always the kids with the snotty nosed kid too, GROSS! Watch your kids! haha!

5. I am absoultey and totally addicted to Twix bars. Love them, love them, dream about them. Not so good for my body, but can't seem to not eat them. YUM!
